Set-up the custom dimensions - with GA4

• Go to "Configure"

Open

• Go to "Custom Definitions"

Open

• Create 2 custom dimensions dedicated to Adloop:

  • The first one:

    • Click on "Create custom dimensions"

    • Name it Adloop Click 1

    • Select "Event" as scope

    • Event parameter: adloop_click_1

  • The second one:

    • Click on "Create custom dimensions"

    • Name it Adloop Click 1 Meta

    • Select "Event" as scope

    • Event parameter: adloop_click_1_meta

If you need to create several custom dimensions, please replicate this process as many times as necessary: adloop_click_2 and adloop_click_2_meta, adloop_click_3 and adloop_click_3_meta and so on.

Note : the meta name does not refer to the Meta group (Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp). You don’t need to create additional custom dimensions like adloop_click_1_google or adloop_click_1_tiktok.
